new story

here's another story that turned out to be a short. about 400 words.

I sat, in the middle of my home, my legs rested contently on the floor, when it happened. The  entire home was built on a bush, and yet it was completely supported by it, but in hindsight, it was not a good idea, here is what happened.

I first saw the tyre in my far-right eye, moving quite slowly towards the home, but I ignored it, as this happens often. There was another tyre following it from the distance, which I also ignored.

A few seconds later, a large vibration was felt though the floor, and I moved eagerly towards it, full of hope at the thought of food, but upon arrival, I saw the tyre was ploughing through my home! Instinct urged me forward, and before I knew what I was doing, part of the support snapped, leaving half my house to fly free in the wind, so I jumped onto the tyre, with only a split second of hesitation.

I had jumped on the rising part of the wheel, so as I reach its zenith, I saw the free half of my home impale itself on a rose. And before I had the chance to discover the other half of my homes fate, I began my decent.

The decent was even more terrifying than the collision with the tyre and my house, even more terrifying than the time the hornet got stuck in my house!

The darkness overwhelmed me, and the last rays of light left the tyre I so desperately clung on to, and then I was alone.

In my distraught state about my house, I almost forgot to move to the side on the tyre, so I wasn’t crushed between it and the floor.

For the next 5 revolutions, I did not notice anything… my eyes had turned off and my brain was dead. I sat there on the constantly moving surface, and did nothing.

I  opened my eyes, and in a moment, I decided what I should do.

I waited on the wheel, and as I reached the top, I quickly climbed into the wheels support. Then I moved up the structure, until I reached the man’s hand holding the handlebar, and I bit down hard, injecting poisonous venom into the hand!

The man yelped, and I was launched into the branches of a tree, and I sat down, started weaving web for my new home, and my legs rested contently in my new home.
